Lea Green, 1966, Jimmy Greaves. I remember us buking it up there from Cromford and we sat on a high wall on the lane to the Rhodedendron gardens watching Bobby Charlton n Bobby Moore n the rest of the squad training in the pitch close by. We shouted to them and they all waved and shouted back - all just prior to the World Cup - Happy Days. We also went over to somewhere near Asbourne where West Germany were training. One of my school mates blagged a shirt off them too !
